Built in 1758 by Monsieur de Pontet in the prominent terroir of Saint Julien. Located facing the Gironde river, the vineyard's soil consists of Garonne soil with a clay-gravel subsoil allowing excellent growing conditions no matter the weather conditions.
Tasting Notes:
Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers a great intensity of earth and mineral-laced black fruit, supported by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness.
Pairing Suggestions:
Pairs well with beef, game, lamb and poultry dishes.
